Junior Accountant - Kids Dental Brands

The Opportunity

Kids Dental Brands is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support a variety of general accounting and financial reporting tasks that are essential to our operations. We’re seeking someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and brings both strong analytical skills and clear communication to the table.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• Work closely with the GL Accounting team in assisting with day-to-day accounting duties

• Utilities management including pulling down utility invoices and ensuring accuracy of coding

• Assist with pulling down loan and bank statements from the bank and ensure accuracy coding

• Assist with reconciling balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliations

• Perform journal entry preparation as needed for monthly close

• Enter transactional data into the relevant systems including manual payments and cash receipts

• Assist with pulling down various data for financial reporting and review

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and procedures

• Ensure accounting practices comply with generally accepted accounting principles

• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly: $24-$28 depending on experience

• Schedule: Hybrid role. In Office work is required Monday - Thursday

• Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Working towards an Accounting Degree or related field required

• Exposure to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics (GP) system a plus

• Highly detail oriented

• Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision and multiple deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships

• Detailed oriented with organization and time management skills

• Demonstrated professionalism and responsible enough to take ownership of projects
