Junior Accountant - Kids Dental Brands

The Opportunity
Kids Dental Brands is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support a variety of general accounting and financial reporting tasks that are essential to our operations. We’re seeking someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and brings both strong analytical skills and clear communication to the table.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Work closely with the GL Accounting team in assisting with day-to-day accounting duties
Utilities management including pulling down utility invoices and ensuring accuracy of coding
Assist with pulling down loan and bank statements from the bank and ensure accuracy coding
Assist with reconciling balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliations
Perform journal entry preparation as needed for monthly close
Enter transactional data into the relevant systems including manual payments and cash receipts
Assist with pulling down various data for financial reporting and review
Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and procedures
Ensure accounting practices comply with generally accepted accounting principles
Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation and Schedule
Hourly: $24-$28 depending on experience
Schedule: Hybrid role. In Office work is required Monday - Thursday

Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Working towards an Accounting Degree or related field required
Exposure to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics (GP) system a plus
Highly detail oriented
Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision and multiple deadlines
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Detailed oriented with organization and time management skills
Demonstrated professionalism and responsible enough to take ownership of projects
