Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Orthodontist chairside during patient care and procedures
- Take patient impressions and digital records
- Change rubber bands, wires, and brackets
- Adjust clear aligners such as Invisalign
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
What We're Looking For
- CDA or RDA certification required
- X-ray certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 year of orthodontic assisting experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting Pay: $22+ per hour, based on experience + a one time sign-on bonus of $500
- Monthly Bonus Pay: up to $300 additional per month
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Day shifts only, no nights or weekends, with shorter workdays on Fridays
