Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Systems Analyst with expertise in SQL development to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary backend resource for our development team, managing databases, tables, and stored procedures. Additionally, this role will involve providing ad-hoc reporting, data validation, and support for our Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SQL databases, tables, and stored procedures.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Validate data for accuracy and reliability, particularly for use in Power BI reports.
  • Collaborate with Jeff and the Power BI team to ensure data integrity and accuracy in BI reports.
  • Identify and test data sources to ensure they meet reporting requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing of data displayed in BI reports.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose data-related issues, distinguishing between fundamental problems and user errors.
  • Translate technical data into real-world terms for stakeholders when issues arise.
  • Support the development team by providing backend data resources and assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a SQL Developer or Systems Analyst.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming and database management.
  • Experience with ad-hoc reporting and data validation.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
